My evening lectures start with the showing of a video from a famous
DX-pedition (a long journey during which the same amateur radio station is
used in many countries). I provide a spoken accompaniment to the video in
Danish. I have the latest videos available. You can choose between: VK0IR
Heard Island, ZL9CI Campbell Island and A52A Bhutan. After a short break, I speak about the IPA and the IPARC, telling who we
are, what we stand for etc… Finally the audience hears about some of the dx-peditions which the IPARC
has performed. I have visited Aaland, Andalucia, the Faroe Islands,
Austria, Greenland, Iceland, Norway, Thailand, Sweden and Kaliningrad. I
am an authorised EDR (Experimenting Danish Radio amateurs – the Danish
national organ for radio amateurs) lecturer. I would not presume that these lectures are
on a high technical level – but I guarantee an
entertaining evening.
