Awards are an expression of the level of competence one has reached performing a hobby. At dog shows, the winning dog often receives a red rosette. Awards are the human equivalent of this rosette.

There are about 19 different IPARC awards in existence today. You can see several of them if you follow the links to Great Britain and Belgium. I know an IPARC member in Germany who, because of a high degree of competence, has obtained several hundred awards.
